Axis Studio's Farleigh Fundraiser
Every year Axis Studio is open, owner Kathy Blagden likes to celebrate by putting something back into the community.
This year she chose to do a fundraiser for Farleigh Hospice and organized an event which kicked off Saturday 22nd October. Farleigh Hospice seemed the most deserving charity to focus on this year, being a local charity and one that is important to some of our staff and clients on a more personal level.
The fundraising event consisted of participants paying £1 to guess the amount of balloons in a limousine that was been donated to Axis Studio for a week.
The prizes were picked in a draw held at Axis Studio on Saturday 29th October at 6pm and there was a wide variety of exceptional prizes available. These were kindly donated by local businesses situated in the west end of Chelmsford.
We had a good response from Chelmsford west ends local businesses for which I am extremely grateful. We at Axis Studio contributed colour, cut and treatment vouchers for the lucky winners up to the value £140 each, plus we gave away lots of goodies to those who entered the fundraiser!!
Dream Radio kindly gave us airplay throughout the days we were fundraising and the Essex FM Thunderbirds popped down to TK Maxx on Sunday 23rd to give us a helping hand.

We also had a picture of the limousine on display at Axis Studio so those that couldn’t make it to those places came down and had a go.
The amount of balloons that were in the limousine was 409. Congratulations to Faye for guessing the exact amount!!
